Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, restraint, vaccinations for dogs and cats, phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, taking digital radiographs, inducing anesthesia, calculating medications (IV, IM, SQ, and PO), administering medications (IV, IM, SQ, and PO), fluid administration, keeping hospitalization records appropriately, inducing and monitoring anesthesia, intubation, dental prophylaxis and radiography, client service, client/patient consultation, common drugs and dosages, etc.
Willing to travel throughout Colorado is not required but recommended.
Required experience:
- Veterinary Technician: minimum 1-2 years
Required education:
- Associate’s Degree
REQUIRED license or certification:
- CVT/LVT/RVT
